Levski trainer Stanimir Stoilov and technical director Nasko Sirakov would not be fired by their club, a special meeting of the management board of Sofia's football club Levski 1914 decided on December 5 2007.
After a 0:1 loss against CSKA on December 2, Levski's director Todor Batkov had demanded that both would step down, Dnevnik daily said.
On December 3, the resignation of the two was announced. The same day, it was said that Batkov had reacted emotionally after the match the day before and that he would not accept the resignations.
Sources told Dnevnik that Stoilov would start working on a project called Plan 2009, to return Levski to the top of Bulgaria's football.
