Manchester City coach Sven-Goran Eriksson wishes to see more goals by his Bulgarian winger Martin Petrov.
Eriksson’s statement came after the two goals Petrov scored for the 3:3 draw against Fulham on September 23 2007, tribalfootball.com reported.
Eriksson said that Petrov “normally scores goals. I don't know how many shots he has had during the season, and he has been in a few good positions, but today he took his chances.”
According to Eriksson, Petrov was a “great player” and was very important to the team.
“He has pace, good technique and a great shot,” the coach said.
