French company Montupet S.A. began the construction of an automobile parts factory in the Bulgarian town of Rousse, Darik Radio reported.
Montupet was assigned a first class investor rank, which ment that Bulgaria would provide state funding for the factory infrastructure, Darik said.
Bulgaria already provided 4.7 million leva for sewerage and would invest four million leva more for electric network, Darik said.
Montupet would invest more than 70 million leva in the project in the coming three years.
The factory would be constructed in nine months on a 140 000 sq m plot. It would provide 500 work places, Darik said.
