Vehicle owners at the Bulgarian Black Sea resort of Sunny Beach have been experiencing parking problems.
Parking places taxes varied between two and six leva per hour and there was no free of charge parking in the resort, investor.bg reported.
Daily parking place can cost the tourists one night stay at a hotel and even more. Shop-owners at the resort also complain that they have been taxed each time trucks arrive to deliver goods.
According to some of affected people, parking authorities chose illegally which vehicles to remove from the parking lots. Mainly Romanian vehicles were removed.
Shop-owner Diana Kostadinova said that the problem had a negative impact on Bulgaria's image and will lead to tourists reflux from northern neighbouring countries.
