Over 700 Bulgarian and foreign companies will take part in the architecture, construction and furnishing fair Stroiko 2000 in Sofia.
Stroiko 2000 is the 28th edition of the trade fair and will be presented at an area of eight floors in the National Palace of Culture (NPC).
The first Stroiko fair happened 14 years ago and its presentation area was much smaller, Deputy Regional Development and Public Works Minister Savin Kovachev said.
Kovachev said that the number of foreign companies and Bulgarian companies representing foreign businesses in the exhibition increased.
Wooden houses from north Bulgaria and heating systems using solar batteries from Sweden could be seen at the exhibition, Bulgarian National Radio reported.
Some of the participants will demonstrate movable coverage facilities for pools which could be used by hotel and spa centres. The exhibition will also show various types of metal doors, furniture and safety equipment.
