Archeological expedition found a rich medieval tomb in the Kaliakra fortress, on the Kaliakra cape at the Black Sea coast on August 14 2007.
The tomb was that of a young woman whose head was decorated with a magnificent ornament, Focus news agency reported.
The ornament was made of silver applications with gilt, sewn-on material interwoven with gold.
Archaeologists found an earring of tortuous bronze wire close to the skull, as well as a bronze ring.
The new excavations prove archaeologists' theory that the area reached its peak from 12th to 15th century.
Excavations will continue until the end of August 2007.
