Police in Peru arrested earlier this week five foreigners at the Lima airport for drug smuggling, Buglarian news agency BTA said, quoting news agency EFE.

The five allegedly attempted to transport different amounts of cocaine to Spain and Mexico.

Among those arrested was a 28-year-old Bulgarian who was on his way to Madrid. Police were said to have found 1.2 kg cocaine hidden between food products in his luggage.
