Rollplast, the Bulgarian manufacturer of door and window framing, has unveiled its new production facility in Kostinbrod, central Bulgaria. The new facility is the first major step in Rollplast's ambitious expansion plan to 2012, which will cost the company 72 million leva to implement.
The facility, in the industrial zone near Kostinbrod, is being build in three phases, of which the first phase has been completed.
Spanning over 42 906 sq m, the new facility will allow Rollplast to boost its domestic market share from 10 to 15 per cent, boosting its turnover to an annual 100 million leva.
"Our ambition is to expand on the markets of neighbouring Romania, Macedonia, and Serbia, and then gradually enter the markets of Western and Central Europe after 2011," Rollplast owner Svetlin Nikolaev said, as quoted by Stroitelstvo Gradut weekly.
The company plans to complete the final stage of investment in 2012 – of the total 72 million leva, 48 million are planned for construction and design, 21 million for new equipment, two million for the technical infrastructure of the plant.
According to the company, 40 per cent of the amount will be funded by the firm and the rest will come from bank loans and leasing contracts.
