Bulgaria donates 100 000 euro to Gaza Strip hospitals
The Bulgarian diplomatic mission to the Palestinian territories has donated 100,000 euros to the International Committee of the Red Cross on Tuesday for projects in support of the Palestinian people.
The financial assistance has been provided so that hospitals in Palestinian areas can purchase new medical equipment and medical supplies, the Ma'an news agency has reported.
The Bulgarian donation fulfilled a pledge made at the Sharm Ash-Sheikh, Egypt donor conference earlier this year in March, where European, Arab and other states pledged millions to rebuild the war-torn Gaza Strip.
